These are some of my favorite elements to incorporate into your wedding timeline!
So you’ve decided to not do a first look, and you’re not really into doing a first touch. We get it, the excitement of seeing one another in front of your family & friends as you walk down the aisle. It’s one of our favorite and most memorable moments to! Even though you choose not see one another, you can still have an intimate moment before the ceremony. Writing a love letter to one another and reading it before the ceremony, it puts the excitement in knowing that soon you’ll be walking down the aisle to meet your person! Your forever, that just wrote to you how much they can’t wait to see you and be with your for the rest of your life! This is one of the most heartfelt and genuine ways to be with one another before you say “I Do” without actually being with one another. There’s nothing like getting your heart pumping with more love before the big moment!
You’re married! You did the damn thing, you said “I Do” and now it’s time to party! You’re excited and ready to go, but you’ve had such a crazy long day already. Even if you’ve done a first look, have you gotten much time together? This is one of my BIGGEST and most IMPORTANT items on our wedding day timeline. Scheduling in together time, with just the two of you right after your ceremony. Take five, ten, heck take15/20 minutes! Whatever you feel like you want to be able to let it sink in and really enjoy the moment of your marriage! You will have plenty of time for family & friends, but you only have so much time of togetherness on the big day. We schedule in as much allotted time as possible so you can be alone together and enjoy the company of one another. Whether you just take a walk, sit somewhere, have a ride, etc. we always make sure you get your alone time together, that’s what we’re there for anyway, AMIRITE! To celebrate the joining of your love with everyone, but also making sure you get to enjoy and celebrate your love in sync!
It’s time to PARTAYYY! Cocktail our is in full swing, guests are laughing, drinking, eating and enjoying the scenery. We’re getting ready to really kick things off with introductions, first dance & speeches, but before we make all that happen we want you to see what you’ve dreamed and we made happen! In all of our timelines, permitting it allows + works for the venue we’re at, we always try to make sure we can fit in the reception reveal!
Why do a reception reveal?! You don’t get the full picture with all of your guests seated inside, you don’t get to walk around and really take notice of all the elements that went into making the design so true to you! It gives you time to really reflect on all the work we put in leading up to the wedding day! Another special moment of alone time and reflection on the WOW factor that we created together!
