a wedding planner

Erin & Kyle’s October wedding was one for the books. It was everything we love about fall and more! The colors & the weather were perfect. The family, the venue & of course the beautiful couple, perfect. The last piece to the perfect puzzle was a wedding planner.

When Erin’s mom initially reached out to me, she wasn’t quite sure if they needed a wedding planner for the wedding. The venue checked most items off their list for planning, except their ceremony was off site. Who was going to make sure guests knew where to go after the church or what to do in between the ceremony & cocktail hour? Who was going to make sure all the details before the wedding were taking care of?

Me of course! It’s a no brainer that you need a planner. The venue is there to make sure things run on time, food is taken care of, guests have drinks, etc. BUT you also need someone to take care of all the little details no one thinks about. Such as someone directing guests from the hotel to the ceremony. Making sure your guests head to the reception on time, and that while photos are happening your keeping track of time so the photographers stay on track and your timeline stays on track!

I can’t stress it enough, TIME MANAGEMNET IS KEY! It’s one thing I am always pushy about, because if one element is off or running late we have to push time on another element. You don’t want to feel rushed or like you have no time on the wedding day. We want things to me smooth and easy and make sure the couple is getting the most out of their day. It already goes by so fast so our main goal is to make sure you get to enjoy it in it’s entirety!

That is why you need a planner. You need someone to keep you on track, things running and you not worrying about what’s next because you’re going with the flow and wondering what the next song is the DJ is going to play while pushing family & friends on the dance floor! Leave the rest to us.
